Time to give 'STACEY' the due importance “like MUKESH”

How many of you catch up with latest Bollywood releases in theaters? Probably 30 percent youths does that, or say an average rated movie is seen by approximately 20 million people in the first week. This means almost 30% of the population has sometime or the other, has seen the anti smoking ad in which Mukesh ’s is seen telling his cancer problem. And later we get to know that he died at the age of 24 in October, 2009. I thank government to bring such inspiring story for anti smoking campaign. It’s around a week when India concluded with another season of Indian ‘Paisa’ League and returned back into the productive season.  No I won’t discuss match fixing here. The official uniform of ‘many’ teams was sponsored by Kingfisher and caps that the members of the winning team wore, had Royal Stag logo. Apart from that, ads of liquor can be seen ubiquitous on the ground.  This means, according to our ‘mercenary’ government, alcohol is good for he...

Sometimes I wonder, whom to feel pity upon, when a Mercedes and Aston martin collides? I witness fatal accidents everyday amidst this unruly traffic of Hyderabad who does nothing more than adding up to the statistics. These accidents happen more due to our own carelessness. The police database says that by the end of December 28, 2012, 462 lives were snuffed out in road accidents in Hyderabad. In this urban life, everybody is in a hurry. And nobody has time to stop and help somebody. And this want to reach earliest, puts further burden on your accelerator. That much burden, which might prove fatal. Many among us feel that, one, two or even three drinks will not affect their senses. And they can reach their destination with ease. Many of us talk on phone assuming excellent control over self driving. We do not use safety belt, or helmet. We feel we have full knowledge of our safety. We forget that along with our own life, we are risking others lives to...

Let me tell you a story of a man whose name is Heera. He was born and brought-up in a rich and affluent family of Saudi Arabia. They had a family business of bullion. Heera was extremely intelligent with a good knowledge of computers. When he was 12, his family moved to Vadodara, a city in Gujarat. On one unfortunate evening, Heera gets a high BP stroke. The stroke came as the worst nightmare of in his life. He got brain hemorrhage and as a result of which he lost both his eyes. His medical situation rendered him helpless and dependent on others for slightest of thing. Although Heera came from an affluent family, he was self dependent and a man of high self-esteem. With time, he started recovering from the mental trauma and started hunting for a job. Something with which he could earn two meals of respect. He ran from the pillar to post receiving a cold-shoulder everywhere. But one fine day he got a ray of hope when his aunt told him that there is a foreign company who was...

Imagine! You are all alone in a pitch dark night with absolutely no traces of light. I guess this already gave you goose bumps. Let me add up to your misery now. You will have to be in that situation for a day. Without eyes, the dependency on all other sense organs increases incredibly. It is very difficult for a normal person like us to imagine ourselves in that scenario. Rather impossible!! So have you ever imagined that, how would the life of a blind person be? Taste of Darkness! I am neither talking about any of the RGV's horror movie nor about a fictitious novel. ' Taste of Darkness ' is a special restaurant of its own kind and India’s first ' The Dialogue in the Dark ' franchise. Dialogue in the dark is a social enterprise which finds its origination in Germany in 1988. It is now located in more than 130 cities of about 30 odd countries. The motto of this franchise is ‘To create a culinary journey that challenges your taste buds and table etiqu...
